Children’s Privacy Protection Guideline[CamScanner]


Before using our Products and Services, please carefully read this Guideline. YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN’S BROWSING OR USING OUR PRODUCTS SHALL BE DEEMED AS THAT YOU FULLY ACCEPT THIS GUIDELINE AND COMMIT TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.


"INTSIG" or "We" refers to INTSIG Information Co., Ltd. with its registered office in Shanghai PRC.


“You” refers to the users (whether registered or not) of Our Products and the purchasers of paid services. In this Guideline, “You” specifically refers to the supervisor of the “Child” or “Children”.


“Children”or “Child” refers to MINORS UNDER the AGE of 14.


“Our Products” include software Products and services (provided by our company and/or our branches, affiliates or partners across the globe) in connection with the software Products we provide. The software Products and applications we provide include [CamScanner].


“Guideline” refers to " Children's Privacy Protection Guideline[CamScanner]"


We attach great importance to protecting children's personal information and privacy. In addition to the "CamScanner Privacy Policy" and "CamScanner User Agreement", we also provide you this Guideline to help you and your children further understand our collection ,use, storage and sharing of your child’s personal information, and the relevant rights enjoyed by you and your child.


This guideline only applies to the processing of Children's personal information. Regarding the handling of personal information of users who have reached the age of 14, please refer to "CamScanner Privacy Policy" and "CamScanner User Agreement" for relevant information.


Please be sure to read this guideline carefully before your child registers to Our Products, and fully understand the content of the terms, including but not limited to the terms that exempt or limit our liability. Please read carefully and fully understand the "CamScanner Privacy Policy" and this guideline, and choose whether to agree to the "CamScanner Privacy Policy".

I. Children's personal information we collect

1. During your child's use of our products or services, we will only collect personal information about your child that you agree to collect or that you and your child voluntarily provide, in order to provide and optimize our services and protect your child’s account security. For details of your child's personal information that we may collect, please refer to the "CamScanner Privacy Policy".


2. At present, in addition to obtaining information on whether the payment is successful, mobile phone number and ID photo from a third party in accordance with the "CamScanner Privacy Policy" to help us provide payment settlement services, one-click login services and ID photo services, we will not actively obtain your child's personal information from third parties other than our affiliates. If it is necessary to obtain and process your child’s personal information indirectly from other third parties other than our affiliates to enhance our service, we will strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations, and require the third party to obtain your consent and ensure the legitimacy of the information provided.


II. How we use children's personal information

1. We strictly abide by the provisions of laws and regulations and the agreements with You, and use the collected information in accordance with this Guideline and the "CamScanner Privacy Policy" and "CamScanner User Agreement" to provide service with better quality to your children.


2. For details on the way we use children’s personal information, please refer to the "CamScanner Privacy Policy". If we use your child’s personal information beyond the stated purpose at the time of collection and out of the scope of direct or reasonable connection to the stated purpose, we will inform you and obtain your consent relatively before using your child's personal information.


III. Storage of children's personal information

1. In accordance with laws and regulations, we store your child's personal information collected within the territory of the People's Republic of China, and keep this information strictly confidential in accordance with the law. If you request to transfer your child's personal information overseas, we will process it in accordance with relevant laws to ensure the protection of your child's personal information.


2. Generally, we will only store your child's personal information for the time that is necessary to achieve the service the stated purposes or under the conditions prescribed by laws. When the time limit specified by laws is exceeded, we will delete or anonymize your child's personal information in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.


IV. Security of children's personal information

1. We attach great importance to the security of children's personal information. To realize it, we have adopted industry-wide data protection technologies and management measures, such as network isolation, data encryption, and firewalls.


2. In order to protect the security of your child's information, we strictly limit the scope of people who can access the information and require them to fulfill confidentiality obligations. We will also record the access respectively.


3. Please be aware that although we have taken reasonable measures to protect your child's information in accordance with the law, there is no guarantee that system or network is absolutely secure. If our physical, technical or management protection facilities are damaged, resulting in unauthorized access, public disclosure, tampering, or destruction of information, leading to the damage of your child’s legitimate rights and interests, we shall take the limited responsibility within the scope prescribed by law. We will do our best to investigate the legal liability of the infringer under your utmost cooperation.


4. In the case of encountering a personal information security incident, we will inform you and your children relative information in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. For example, the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, the measures you can take to prevent and reduce risks, and remedies for you, etc. We will inform you and your children about the situation related to the incident by email, letter, telephone, notification, etc. When it is difficult to inform you and your children individually, we will adopt a reasonable and effective way to make announcements. At the same time, we will also report the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory authorities.


5. Our Information Security Committee primarily takes the responsibility of personal information security, you may contact us through [email protected] in regards of any breach of your child’s personal information protection.


V. Rectification of children's personal information

1. You or your child can delete the uploaded scanned file by yourselves through our product page.


2. If you or your child notice that our processing behaviour in regards of your children’s personal information is: 1) in violation of laws, administrative regulations, or agreement between the parties; 2) beyond the scope of the specified purpose; or 3) out of the necessary time limit for storage, you may contact us through [email protected] for deletion.


3. If you or your child withdraw your consent, you may contact us through [email protected] for deletion. We will promptly stop using your child's personal information, and will delete or anonymize the stored children's personal information under you or your children’s request.


4. If you or your child voluntarily cancel the CamScanner account and terminates the use of CamScanner, we will stop the usage children's personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws, regulations or regulatory authorities. If our products or services cease to operate, we will notify you in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. At the same time, we will promptly stop the usage of children's personal information, and delete or anonymize the relative children's personal information.


VII. Sharing children's personal information and third-party services

Generally, we will not share children’s personal information with third parties. While under special circumstances, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance, and we will take proactive measures in accordance with laws and administrative regulations, including but not limited to security assessment of third parties.


VIII. Public disclosure of children's personal information

We respect and protect your children’s privacy and undertake that we will not disclose a child’s personal information to any third-party entity or person except as stated in the Guildline, unless:


1. You agree to make your child’s personal information available to public including but not limited to in the default setting or other setting you adjusted the Products to;

2. your child’s personal information is provided according to law, or required by governmental or judicial authority; or

3. In case of emergency and where necessary, the information is required to be disclosed in order to protect the lawful rights and interests of INTSIG or other users or the public security and public interest.


Under the circumstances described in the above Sub-clauses 2 and 3, we will do our best to notify you on the disclosure. You understand and agree that the notification to you will be made in the principles of promptness and integrity, BUT IF IT CANNOT BE TIMELY MADE DUE TO OBJECTIVE FACTOR OR FOR REASONABLE CAUSE, WE WILL NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT.


IX. Update

We have been continuously improving this Guideline, and with the extension of the scope of Our Products and services, we may update this Guideline from time to time. Please review this Guideline regularly to know about it in its update version. If any update results in essential reduction of your rights under the Guideline, we will notify you by posting the reminder or announcement where it is notable at the interface of Our Products, or e-mailing you, before the date when the revised version becomes effective. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF OUR PRODUCTS FROM THAT DAY ON WILL BE UNDERSTOOD AS YOU FULLY ACCEPT THE UPDATED GUILDLINE.


IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THE REVISED GUILDLINE, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT AND STOP USING OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.


X. Relationship between Guideline and Privacy Policy

This Guideline is specifically for the protection of children's personal information. If there is any inconsistency or contradiction in regards of the protection of children’s personal information between the "Privacy Policy" and this Guideline, please refer to this Guideline in the first place.


XI. Implementation of Guideline

We pay high level to attention to your Children’s information security and specially have a commission of information security, which leads and coordinates relevant departments in handling information security and inspects our company’s risk level of information security on a periodical basis; in the meanwhile, the head of the commission will be the Data Protection Officer whose duty includes guarantee of our company-wide performance in fulfilling the commitment of information security, etc.
