It is not supported to save to the external SD card since the version 6.4.0.

In the lower version, the option "save files to external sdcard" is in Me--doc management.

When the option is checked, new generated files will be saved to /Android/data/com.intsig.camscanner/files of the external sdcard by the app automatically.

The saved files can be manually selected in the CS app and be shared to the external sd card via a file management app, or you can downloaded from www.camscanner.com on your PC/Mac.

As CS files cannot be restored simply by copying its folder, please do NOT delete or move any file in it. Also, it is recommended to back up files by the CS sync feature in case of any unexpected data loss.
