CamScanner does NOT read any user's Contact info or message in the SIM card. Here are the permissions CamScanner needs:

1. the country code in SIM card: CS gets the country code from your SIM card so it can show up correctly when you sign up for CamScanner with your phone number in the app；

2. device ID: the purchased fax balance will be bound to this device ID;

3. camera: CS needs the camera permission to take pictures;

4. album/gallery: CS need this permission so you can share or import photos from the device album/gallery into CS;

5. storage: the permission is required so processed photos can be saved to your device. Once disabled, error messages like "low memory", "no permission to operate" will pop up or the app may crash.
