OCR features enables you to recognize and export texts from images into .txt file.

To use the OCR feature, please open a scanned page in CamScanner and tap the "OCR" button. CamScanner will do OCR automatically. If you use it for the first time, CamScanner will ask you to download and install the OCR plug-in. Please click the button and the plug-in will be downloaded from our server. If your phone rejects to install, please go to phone settings - security - check "unknown sources" to allow installation of OCR.

With the full version or a premium account, the OCRed Texts can be viewed, edited and shared.
