When you tap "Cloud-OCR", the picture will be uploaded to the Cloud Server to recognize. The result will be better than the local one.

Just like the Cloud-OCR feature of many other apps, the whole upload process is encrypted and the recognition is carried out by the machine; no human takes part in it.

However, please note: The recognition result depends on the picture quality; distorted text and handwriting may not be recognized.
