App becomes unresponsive and crashes. How to solve the problem?

<span style="font-size:14px;"> 1. double-tap the </span><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Home</span></strong><span style="font-size:14px;"> button to bring up the list of running apps</span><br />
<span style="font-size:14px;"> 2. simply swipe upwards on the thumbnail to dismiss it</span><br />
